There are many reasons people turn to counselling in life. Some of the common reasons include anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship issues or the inability to recover from an event in life which has left them feeling unsettled. There is no need to struggle alone if you are experiencing any of these issues or feel stuck with a problem that makes life feel unmanageable.
My focus when counselling is to open a safe and non-judgemental confidential space for individuals to explore and overcome whatever is troubling them. I work with understanding, empathy and respect ensuring the highest standards of client care are achieved.
I understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship and believe trust is paramount. All information disclosed is treated with absolute confidentially, integrity and within the BACP ethical framework enabling you to feel safe. This is always placed at the heart of what I do.
